    Breakthrough Research: TenCate Mirafi® RS580i - Best Geosynthetic in Full-Scale Study
    Mirafi® RSi

    The Western Transportation Institute at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT recently completed an independent, full-scale unpaved roadway performance study called, “The Relative Operational Performance of Geosynthetics Used as Subgrade Stabilization”. The study was fully funded by nine State DOTs and included 8 biaxial geogrids, 2 multiaxial geogrids and 2 geotextiles.

    UDOT Bridge

    The Utah Department of Transportation is using an innovative method to replace the Interstate Highway I-84 overpass bridge near Echo Junction in northern Utah (USA) to save construction time and government money. Bridges will be supported on a mechanically stabilized earth system utilizing TenCate Mirafi® geosynthetic reinforcement.
